So, you've decided that you'd like to start eating plant-based whole foods.

It really doesn't matter why you've made that decision, it could be because you want to lose weight, it could be because you want to reverse your heart disease or Type 2 Diabetes. 

It could be because you want to minimize the effect you're having on the environment.
